CIGRE Science and Engineering (CSE) accepted by Scopus
As CIGRE will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year, a first gift arrives at the beginning of 2020 with the referencing of our journal CSE by Scopus the prestigious database for scientific publications.

As CIGRE will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year, a first gift arrives at the beginning of 2020 with the referencing of our journal CSE by Scopus the prestigious database for scientific publications. This means that papers published in our Journal will be indexed by Scopus, which is very important particularly for our authors coming from academic institutions. I must commend the team including the Central Office and the Editor-in-Chief Prof. Konstantin Papailiou for their hard work in achieving this milestone.
The main points for the positive evaluation of our Journal by the Scopus team have been:
- The magazine produces scientifically sound and relevant, well written and understandable articles to an international academic or professional audience in this field.
- Peer review type is clearly stated and is supported by appropriate reviewer guidelines.
In addition it should be stated that for our Journal:
- Peer review is performed by the top specialists in their field worldwide.
- Only the highest standard of papers is accepted.
- There is no charge for publication.
- CSE is disseminated globally and can be downloaded free giving authors maximum exposure.
- Authors are informed within a month on their applications for publication and immediately after their paper has been published.
I would therefore urge those that are aiming to have their work published in a world leading magazine to publish in CIGRE Science and Engineering. Papers are submitted in Microsoft Word with no styles to konstantin(@)papailiou.ch.
